GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE BCR LIFE INSURANCE*

What is the BCR Life Insurance?

 It is a collective life insurance that compensates the beneficiaries designated by the insured, in case of death of this one.

Thinking about you we have created two kinds:

1- Pensioners older than 66 years

Pensioned customers, who are older than 66 years and receive their payment through Bank of Costa Rica and are cardholders.

Characteristics:

• Cover from ¢ 5.000.000,00
• Monthly payments from ¢3.000, 00
• Does not require to make medical examinations **.
• Death cover.
• It does not have limitation of age to apply for the cover.
• Funeral expenses up to a 10% of the assured amount (like advanced sum of the policy) **.
• Lifelong collective life insurance (does not expire).
• Available in all Banco de Costa Rica branches.

It is very important that you know the following information of the policy, to have clear the benefits, requirements and conditions of the insurance:

2- Persons with at least 18 years

For all the people who are at least 18 years old and are cardholders of Banco de Costa Rica.

In this policy also they are possible to be protected, any pensioner who receives his payment by means of other financial institutions, as long as they are active cardholders of Banco de Costa Rica.

• Monthly payments from ¢1.200,00
• Does not require to make medical examinations **.
• Death cover.
• It does not have limitation of age to apply for the cover.
• Funeral expenses up to a 10% of the assured amount (like advanced sum of the policy) **.
• Lifelong collective life insurance (does not expire).
• Available in all Banco de Costa Rica branches.

* All insurance policies have a disputability period of one year. The amount of the cover of the life insurance will depend on the type of card that the customer have.
