With our pension plans, choose monthly amounts you want to save estimating now the accrued amount that will be yours when retiring.  If you want to get a plan in Colones, the minimum amount which you must save is ¢5.000.00 (five thousand Colones) and if in dollars, the minimum amount will be $10.00 (ten dollars).

At BCR Pensiones your savings could not be seized and interest on it is income tax exempt.

In addition you will enjoy exonerations for your contributions to such pension plans, since the Worker Protection Law permits considering them as deductible expenses from income tax and CCSS social security contributions with a maximum top of 10% on your income.

Deposit of contributions is simple, just authorize a monthly withdrawal from your checking, savings account or credit card and we will take it to the end. You can also deposit through bancobcr.com or in any of our Banco de Costa Rica cashiers. 

A statement of account shall monthly show your savings and earned interest.
