Work Capitalization Fund (FCL)
The Work Capitalization Fund has been created by the 3,00% contributions made by the employer (public or private business) on monthly salary employees receive. That is the reason why savings increase in this fund does not imply any additional disbursement on employee’s part.
The Worker Protection Law sets forth that half of WCF, (FCL for its Spanish acronym), that means, 1.5% of employee salary, is annually transferred to the ROPC. Other contributions plus interest shall be available for the employee in his account.
Accrued amount in this fund shall be available for withdrawal every 5 years or whenever working relationship with your current employer ends.
