IMPORT/EXPORT LETTER OF CREDIT
The letter of credit is a payment instrument with higher levels of security issued by a bank acting by request, and following the instructions of the client and in which it is compromised to:
- Pay to a third-party (beneficiary, exporter or seller)
- Accept bills of exchange issued by the beneficiary
- Authorize another bank to make the payment or accept bills of exchange when handing in the required documents, as long as it meets al the terms and conditions of the original credit
